CINE-RENCONTRE with Pascal Tessaud
Preview screening of "Dans La Peau", followed by a Masterclass with the director!

The Campus Georges Méliès – Cannes Bastide Rouge, La Napoule Art Foundation, and SERENA Productions are pleased to invite the public to a CINE-RENCONTRE with Pascal Tessaud, author-director and resident of CASA CINE 2024.
The preview screening of the feature film Dans La Peau will take place on Monday, May 12, 2025, at 5 p.m. in the auditorium of the Campus Georges Méliès, and will be followed by a Masterclass with the director.
After his debut feature, Brooklyn (2014), which was presented in the ACID section of the Cannes Film Festival, Pascal Tessaud now presents Dans La Peau. The film offers a compelling portrait of a fragmented Marseille, told through the story of Kaleem, a young man navigating family pressures, personal ambition, and a relationship with Marie, a mysterious architect of Greek origin. At the heart of the film is krump, a raw and expressive street dance that becomes a powerful means of reclaiming space and identity. The film explores how artistic expression can transcend social boundaries and personal constraints.
Dans La Peau has been screened and awarded at numerous international film festivals after its world premiere at the Brooklyn International Film Festival, where it received the Spirit Award for Best Feature Film.
