4/23/2026

Another edition of the CASA CINE residency is set to commence next month at Château de la Napoule and, as always, a team of experienced and renowned film professionals will be joining this inspiring setting, sharing daily life with the residents while providing guidance and mentoring through individual accompaniment and collaborative group sessions.

In 2026, Cuban filmmaker Fernando Pérez returns to the residency, joined for the first time by Portuguese director Pedro Pinho. Together they will be working closely with the selected authors, offering their knowledge and experience throughout the development of the screenwriting projects. This year, for the first time, resident film score composers will also be accompanied through one-to-one mentoring sessions provided by French composer Delphine Mantoulet, further strengthening the dialogue between music and image within the creative process. All participants will also benefit from pitch preparation sessions led by Anna Glogowski, supporting them in shaping and presenting their projects to industry professionals.

Over the course of the residency, each mentor brings a distinct perspective and practice, contributing to a shared space of exchange, critical dialogue, and artistic development. Discover more about each of them below!
