5/5/2026

The 2026 edition of the CASA CINE residency will begin soon at the Château de la Napoule! Over the course of three weeks, resident screenwriters will have the chance to develop their first or second feature film scripts under the guidance of renowned filmmakers Fernando Pérez and Pedro Pinho, while resident composers are dedicating themselves to composing the original scores for their respective feature film collaborations, with one-to-one mentoring sessions provided by film score composer Delphine Mantoulet.

Each participant will have the opportunity to pitch their project and present their work to a select audience of film industry professionals, including producers, distributors, festival representatives, and directors, at the Region Sud Pavilion - Festival de Cannes, on Thursday, May 16th, at 4 p.m. The CASA CINE pitching session will be followed by a dedicated time to networking and international co-production over a cocktail.

This year, 5 screenwriters and 2 film score composers have been selected from over 270 applicants. International project development consultant Anna Glogowski will guide CASA CINE residents in the preparation of their project pitches.
